When we created the job template in Tower, the Ansible provider automatically refreshed the list of available job templates in the CloudForms/ManageIQ WebUI, along with the default extra variables defined for each. We can can select any of these job templates, and automatically create a service dialog from it. Awx won’t take the extra-vars via api unless you set the right option in your template. You have to enable “ prompt for extra_vars” or whatever it is. Then you can pass extra_vars via api. level 2
